Employing recycled scrap metal, the shield carried by the male Maasai warrior is ingeniously crafted from a rear bicycle cassette, while the Maasai lady carries a traditional guard on her head which is creatively painted patterns, affixed with a bicycle chain for stability. The intricately designed necklaces are repurposed from bicycle disk brakes and chain wheels and carefully painted to harmonize with the body.
For stability and form, the standing legs and hands are expertly fashioned from recycled scrap builders' stands.
